Post-treatment agents for dyeing improve the colour fastness. These work in various ways:

Removal of dye remains which are only superficially deposited (COTOBLANC) or interaction with the dyes accumulated on the fibres (REWIN). Effective due to anionic and cationic polymers with different degrees of polymerisation and different chemistry.
